Happy Dussehra 2022: Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, is a major Hindu festival. It marks the end of Navratri year and celebrating on October 5, 2022.

The day, Vijayadashami, is celebrated as the victory of Lord Rama over Demon Ravana and also the triumph of Goddess Durga over the buffalo Demon Mahishasura. In Nepal, Dasara is celebrated as Dashain.

Shami Puja, Aparajita Puja and Seema Avalanghan are some of the rituals which are followed on the day of Vijayadashami. According to the Hindu division of the day, these rituals should be done during Aparahna time.
