Stock Market Holiday On Dussehra: Stock exchanges BSE and NSE will remain closed on October 24 (Tuesday) for Dussehra. Trading across the equity, equity derivatives, and securities lending and borrowing (SLB) segments will be unavailable on October 24. On the Dussehra holiday, trading across the equity, equity derivatives, and securities lending and borrowing (SLB) segments will remain closed. The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will also remain closed for both morning and evening sessions on Dussehra.
Stock market holidays in November 2023
Similarly, the equity market will observe two holidays in November. These are: Diwali and Guru Nanak Jayanti.
Diwali Balipratipada: Tuesday, November 14
Guru Nanak Jayanti: Monday, November 27
The exchanges will conduct a special, one-hour-long ‘muhurat’ trading session on November 12. The exchanges are yet to announce the schedule of muhurat trading this year.
