Dream Girl box office collection day 9: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer set to enter Rs 100 crore club

Dream Girl box office collection day 9: Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha starring Dream Girl is inching close to Rs 100 crore club after amazing performance continued at the box office for two weeks now. Despite it is sharing screens with three new films - Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, The Zoya Factor and Prassthanam, the collections have not been affected so far.

Opening with a collection of Rs 10.05 crore, Dream girl bagged Rs 16.42 crore and Rs 18.10 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively in its first weekend. While it surpassed the Rs 50 crore level on the first Monday by earning Rs 7.43 crore. However, earning Rs Rs 9.10 crore on second week's Saturday, the total collection of Dream Girl by September 21 has become Rs 86.60 crore.

Taran Adarsh tweeted that Dream Girl is racing towards Rs 100 crore mark and will become Ayushmann Khurana's second movie to collect Rs 100 crore after BadhaaiHo.

Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl revolved around Ayushmann Khurrana, who is playing Karam on screen. Karam turns Pooja to get a job at a 'friendship' call centre. He entices men and women to talk to him in hes melodious voice. Some of the people who talk to him regularly fall head-over-heels in love with the voice of Pooja and here the hilarious journey begins.

Other than Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha in lead roles, the film has talented actors including Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajesh Sharma, Vijay Raaz and Nidhi Bisht, among others.
