Demonetisation: Approval rate remains high as 50-day window nears end
People affected by the currency ban have continued to give PM Modi a big thumbs up for his decision to demonetise higher denominations on November 8.
Through an Interactive Voice Response system (IVRS) survey conducted by Cashless Chronicles unveiled data on December 2 that showed high approval rate for the demonetisation decision in nearly all five states.

The survey was conducted in Bihar, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana with nearly 3,200 respondents in rural and urban areas answered questions on whether they approve of demonetisation, and what the effect of this move has been on their daily lives.
“We have a total of 2,860 responses from the 5 states: 2,238 from urban areas and 632 from rural,” the researchers said.

The data also revealed that people were losing interest as the questions progressed.

PM Modi had given the people of India 50 days to dispose of their old currency notes with amendments to the rules of withdrawing cash and depositing cash almost every day.
