Delhi Traffic Police Advisory: People travelling through Mathura Road and Kalindi Kunj will continue to face trouble on Friday as Delhi traffic police has confirmed that road number 13A will remain closed.
Delhi Traffic Police Advisory: People travelling through Mathura Road and Kalindi Kunj will continue to face trouble on Friday as Delhi traffic police has confirmed that road number 13A will remain closed. In a tweet, the traffic police advised commuters to take DND or Akshardham to reach Delhi instead of road number 13A. People travelling trough this area have been facing difficulties over the last few week.
"Traffic Alert Road No. 13A between Mathura Road and Kalindi Kunj is closed for traffic movement. People coming from Noida are advised to take DND or Akshardham to reach Delhi," the tweet from Delhi traffic police read.
The traffic police also issued an advisory for Republic Day rehearsals. In a separate tweet, it said that several important roads of Delhi including Rajpath road and Raisina Road will remain affected till January 26 due to the rehearsals. The affected areas include - Rajpath Road, Dara Shikoh Road, Rail Bhavan, Raisina Road, Vijay Chowk and Sunehri masjid.

The tweet confirmed that these areas will remain affected between 7 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm. Delhi traffic police has advised commuters to avoid the stretch.
"Traffic Alert. Traffic will remain affected on Rajpath Road, Dara Shikoh Road, Rail Bhavan, Raisina Road, Vijay Chowk, Sunehri masjid due to Republic Day Parade rehearsals till 26th January from 07:00 AM to 12 PM and 02:00 PM to 06:00 PM. Kindly avoid the stretch," the tweet said.
