Delhi government monsoon session commences today; salary hike of ministers, MLAs on the cards
In the session, the Delhi government is likely to take up the bills related to the salary of the ministers, MLAs, Chief Whip, deputy speaker, and Speaker. The fifth bill is about the salary of the opposition leader.
The two-day monsoon session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly began on Monday. Kailash Gahlot, Minister of Law, Justice, and Legislative Affairs, will table the bill in the monsoon session. In the session, the Delhi government is likely to take up the bills related to the salary of the ministers, MLAs, Chief Whip, deputy speaker, and Speaker. The fifth bill is about the salary of the opposition leader.
As per the official notification released by the Delhi government. Introduction of the following 05 (Five) Bills on the table of the House will be put forward-
I. “The Ministers of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Salaries and Allowances) (Amendment) Bill, 2022" (Bill No. 07 of 2022).
II. “The Members of Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi
(Salaries, Allowances, Pension, etc.) (Amendment) Bill, 2022” (Bill No. 08 of 2022).

III. "The Salary and Allowances of the Chief Whip in the Legislative Assembly of the
National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2022” (Bill No. 09 of 2022).
IV. “The Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the National
Capital Territory of Delhi (Salaries and Allowances) (Amendment) Bill, 2022" (Bill No. 10 of 2022).
V. "The Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly
