De De Pyaar De box office collection: Ajay Devgn starrer comedy De De Pyaar De continues to do well at the box office, despite the ongoing Lok Sabha election fever. The film was hit over the weekend due to Lok Sabha polling but gained some lost ground over the weekdays to complete a healthy week. On Thursday, the Akiv Ali directorial raked in Rs 4.48 crore, taking its overall collection to Rs 61.05 crore. De De Pyaar De, which also stars Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh, has two more weeks to add to its collections before Salman Khan starrer Bharat hits the theatres.
"#DeDePyaarDe has two more weekends to score and pack an impressive total [till #Bharat arrives]... Fri 10.41 cr [incl Thu previews], Sat 13.39 cr, Sun 14.74 cr, Mon 6.19 cr, Tue 6.10 cr, Wed 5.74 cr, Thu 4.48 cr. Total: ₹ 61.05 cr. In another tweet, Adarsh said that the second week will be crucial for the film as Narendra Modi's biopic and India's Most Wanted are also releasing on Friday and can eat into De De Pyaar De's market share. "#DeDePyaarDe has a healthy Week 1... Had a decent *extended* weekend, but covered lost ground with a strong run on weekdays... Weekend 2 is extremely crucial, since multiple new films will eat into the market share. #DDPD," he tweeted.
