DDA Housing Scheme 2019: Delhi Development Authority has announced the draw results for flats allotment today. The authority conducted a computerised lucky draw (lottery) for allotment of about 18,000 flats in Vasant Kunj and Narela regions in Delhi.

There were 3 applicants on an average per flat, as according to DDA the authority has received about 50,000 applications for the 18,000 flats under housing scheme.
The entire application process was conducted online and as the results are announced now, the successful applicants will be asked to pay the purchase price of the allotted flat, while the unsuccessful ones will get their application money refunded soon.

The DDA will put out a notice at its headquarters in INA and all applicants, whether successful or not will be receiving an e-mail as a confirmation of same.
For the economically weaker section (EWS) category, the application fee was fixed at Rs 25,000, for the LIG category it was Rs 1 lakh and for MIG and HIG flats Rs 2 lakh.
The computerised draw, based on random number technique was held at DDA headquarters, Vikas Sadan, at 12:30 pma and was conducted in the presence of independent observers, judges and senior officers of the authority.
Meanwhile, DDA has recently reduced the prices of its flats in Narela, sold under the EWS category by upto 40% of the construction cost.
