In this September 9th CBSE announcement, the 13th CTET exam will be conducted on 8th December 2019. According to the ANI report, the CBSE CTET 2019 Exam will be held in 110 cities across India and the last date to apply for the exam is 18th September 2019. Informing about the CBSE CTET 2019 exam notification the ANI tweeted through its official twitter handle, "13th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to be held on 8 December 2019 in 110 cities all across the country. The online application process for CTET Dec 2019 examination has been started from 19 August 2019 & the last date for submitting online application is 18 September 2019."

Earlier, near 20, 84,147 candidates had taken the CBSE CTET 2019 exam that took place on 7th July 2019. This exam was conducted by the DBSE in twenty different languages across 97 cities in India. The CTET certificate holds importance while applying for the vacancies for teachers at various government, semi-government and private educational institutions like KVS, NVS Army Teacher, ERDO etc. So, this CTET certificate is considered minimum eligibility for an aspiring teacher.
