The CBSE may conduct the main subjects first followed by the vocational examinations, as the chronology of the subjects for the 10th and 12th board examination will be based on the number of students opting for the different subjects.
Earlier the commencement date for the 10th and 12th board examination was from March. Also, examinations in which a large number of students are supposed to be sitting will be conducted first followed by those who have less strength of students.
As far as the practical examination is concerned, no confirmation has been made about conducting the practical examination externally.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Court has asked the board to undertake the process of revaluation of June 2018 examination for class 10th and 12, due to which, in order to avoid any delays, vocational examinations were started from February 15.
However, in 2020, practical examinations are anticipated to begin by December, while the date sheets for the same are expected to be released by the end of November.
