Batla House box office collection: Though the John Abraham-starrer film's numbers are not close to what Mission Mangal has put up, the movie's collection has been steady. After a collection of Rs 15.55 crore on the opening day, the movie has so far made Rs 86.04 crore in India business.
The movie managed to earn Rs 65.84 crore at the box office in the first week. The Nikkhil Advani directorial venture has witnessed better collections on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, it earned Rs 6.58 crore, while on Sunday it made Rs 7.21 cr. However, the earning on Monday, being a week day, was at Rs 2.26 crore.
Batla House was released on Independence Day, the same day with Mission Mangal. However, the Akshay Kumar film has already broken many records, and the John Abraham-starrer film is yet to slow down.
Though the John Abraham film's numbers were not very bad, in comparison to Mission Mangal, it is far behind.

Batla House is based on Batla House encounter in September 2008, in which Delhi Police had killed five suspected terrorists. John plays Sanjay Kumar, a decorated police officer Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.
