IBPS PO recruitment 2018 apply online - Check syllabus, salary, exam date, pattern, age limit, notification

IBPS PO recruitment 2018:  Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued notification for the 4252 posts of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees. Candidates can apply online only from 14.08.2018 to 04.09.2018 and no other mode of application will be accepted. The exam will be held online on 18.11.2018 and results of the examination will be declared in the month of December.

The selected candidates will get jobs in these banks - Allahabad Bank, Canara Bank, Indian Bank, Syndicate Bank, Andhra Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of Baroda, Corporation Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Dena Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, IDBI Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, and Vijaya Bank.

The preliminary examination will be of 100 marks consisting of 30 questions of English (30 marks), 35 questions of Quantitative Aptitude (35 marks) and 35 questions of Reasoning Ability (35 marks). The duration of the exam will be one hour.

The main examination will be of three hours and of 200 marks - Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (45 questions of 60 marks), General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness (40 questions of 40 marks), English Language (35 questions of 40 marks) and Data Analysis & Interpretation (35 questions of 60 marks). In addition to this, a test of 30 minutes will be of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

Who can apply:  Any Indian citizen with degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. 

Age limit: Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years (There are certain relaxation for some categories)

IBPS is an autonomous body for hiring banking staffs on behalf of public sector banks.
