Bank holidays in May 2019: Bank customers must be aware that on May 1, which is celebrated as the labour day, some banks might remain closed. However, the holiday list of the same bank varies from state to state. If you have some urgent work with banks then you must finish it either before this date or you have to finish it after the holiday. This month there are two holidays - May Day on May 1 and on Buddha Purnima (May 18, 2019), which are observed in many states. Besides that, there are state holidays in different states.
