AndhaDhun box office collection at Rs 50 cr? This is in offing for Ayushmann Khurranna starrer

AndhaDhun box office collection: It turns out that this Ayushmann Khurranna starrer is going to be quite a successful film. No doubt it started on an exceptionally slow note and it had to fight off the challenge of another release, the Salman Khan production LoveYatri, but ultimately it persevered in the mindset of the public, which dutifully trekked to the theatres day after day in good numbers and this ultimately fattened up the collection to a massive amount. 

Now, it transpires that AndhaDhun collection is going to hit the half-century mark! Yes, from a no-hoper to a success story! However, a lot has to happen before that mark is reached. At the moment, Sriram Raghavan directed film AndhaDhun collection in opening week is Rs 27.65 crore. It had released last Friday. Unbelievably, on day 4, 5 and 6, the collection stayed over Rs 3 cr figure and it was only on day 7 that it dropped under that mark. That kind of a momentum is set to ensure the film keeps on minting money through the next week or so and going by that yardstick, the Rs 50 cr figure will be achieved.

Significantly, AndhaDhun did even better than LoveYatri. In fact this film has been labelled a flop. The film has managed to garner Rs 10.25 crore in the first week. Considering there is hardly any word of mouth boost coming for the film, it is expected to fade away soon. However, as it is a Salman Khan backed film, its lifetime collection may rise to just around Rs 13 cr or so.

AndhaDhun cast includes, apart from Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte, Tabu and Anil Dhawan.
