AERC, DU Recruitment 2019: Agricultural Economics Research Centre (University of Delhi) has invited applications for the post of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. The interested candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 30th May 2019. The job involves carrying out research studies in a time-bound fashion. The work involves conducting innovative research using primary and secondary data, analysis & interpretation of the same and drafting good-quality research reports. 

The candidates should be willing to travel extensively for field work (mainly Haryana and Uttarakhand and if required, other states of India) and supervise teams of junior researchers. Here are some other details like pay scale, important dates, number of posts, age limit, eligibility etc:

AERC, DU Recruitment 2019: Pay scale

1. Assistant Professor- Basic pay Rs 57,700 per month approximately (Level-10  under 7th CPC) with admissible allowances, as per the notification. 

2. Associate Professor- Basic pay Rs 1,32,400 per month approximately (Level-13  under 7th CPC) with admissible allowances, as per the notification. 

AERC, DU Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a consistent good academic record with at least Second Class or minimum 55% marks in Master’s Degree in relevant subject. He/she must have qualified NET or an accredited test in the relevant field. However candidates who have been awarded Ph.D Degree in accordance with the UGC Reg 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.

The maximum age limit of the candidate is 45 years as per the notification.
