Aadhaar card download online is possible but the 12-digit e-aadhaar number is password protected. The e-aadhaar password is a unique 8-digit number that helps an Aadhaar cardholder to open an e-aadhaar PDF. To access one's e-aadhaar is password protected one needs to remember the given 8-digit password. Sometimes, one can remember the e-aadhaar password but people may fail to remember what was their Aadhaar card PDF password and find out that the Aadhaar card password is not working. In that case, the Aadhaar card holder need not panic as he or she has lost the e-aadhaar password and now they won't be able to use their 12-digit unique identification card provided by the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India). So, if someone is named Vijay Kumar and his date of birth is 1992. Then his Aadhaar Card Password will be the first four letters of his name "VIJAY" and the year of birth "1992" will be the last four letters. Means, his Aadhaar Card password PDF file will be VIJAY1992. Similarly, if someone is named Sham Nath and its date of birth is 1990, then it's Aadhaar Card Password will be SHAM1990.

Hence, after e-aadhaar download online, one needs to remember this rule otherwise in case of failing to remember one's Aadhaar Card password, one won't be able to access its Aadhaar Card PDF.
