7th Pay Commission Salary Jobs: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Tirupati) has issued a recruitment notification inviting application for faculty positions. The salary under the 7th Pay Commission or 7th CPC will be given to the selected candidates. Thre are openings for the positions of professor, Associate professor, and assistant professor. The candidates will be able to apply till October 30, 2019.

Qualification:
Basic qualification:
The candidates should possess a PhD and fisrt class in Master's degree in relevant subject. Should have good academic record throughout.

Experience:
Professor: Should have industry/teaching/research experience of ten years and of which six years should be working as Associate Professor with an institute of repute.

Associate Professor: Should have six years of industry/research/teaching experience.

Assistant Professor: Should have at least three years industry/research/teaching experience.

Salary:
Professor
Basic Pay: Rs 1,59,100 (Academic Pay level 14 A and Cell 1 of 7th CPC)

Associate Professor:
Basic Pay: Rs 1,39,600 (Academic Pay level 13 A2 and Cell 1 of 7th CPC)

Assistant Professor:
Basic Pay: Rs 1,01,500 (Academic Pay level 12 and Cell 1 of 7th CPC)

Age limit:
The candidates should be preferably below 38 years of age for the posts of Assistant Professor. For the position of Associate Professor, the age should be preferably below 45 years of age.
