7th Pay Commission Latest News - RRB NTPC 2020 Recruitment Drive: See pay scale, allowances, promotion policy for these vacancies

7th Pay Commission Latest News:  Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will conduct an online examination to fill 35,208 vacancies under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Posts in Indian Railways under RRB NTPC 2020 Recruitment drive. Out of these posts, 24,605 vacancies are graduate level posts while the remaining 10,603 vacancies have been reserved for undergraduate level posts. RRB NTPC 2020 Exam will be conducted after the appointment of Exam Conducting Agency (ECA) by Railway Recruitment Board through tenders and bids. 

RRB NTPC 2020 Recruitment: RRB will conduct an online exam for the recruitment of posts under RRB NTPC categories including Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master in various zones and production units of Indian Railways.

Apart from the basic pay, candidates who qualify for RRB NTPC Commercial Apprentice Posts will be entitled to several other benefits and allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Pension Scheme, Medical Benefits and Other Special Allowance. 

RRB NTPC 2020 Recruitment: Commercial Apprentice Job Profile and Work Responsibilities 

The major roles and responsibilities of a Commercial Apprentice will be: 

• Supervising in various commercial branches 
• Working under the post of Commercial Supervisor/ Goods Supervisor/ Commercial Inspector/ Parcel Supervisor 

Education Qualification: Graduation degree from any recognised university and equivalent 

Age Limit: For General category age limit is 18-33 years; for OBC it is 18-36 years and for SC/ST it is 18-38 years.
