7th pay commission latest news: Karnataka Postal Circle Recruitment 2020 invites application for Junior Accountant and postman, pay scale 25,500 to 81,100

7th pay commission latest news: Indian Postal Department (Karnataka Postal Circle Recruitment) has announced vacancies on multiple posts.  The application process for these vacancies has started on 17 January 2020. The department has advertised for the post of junior accountant, postal assistant, and postman. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the said positions by 26 February 2020, To apply for the post you can also visit the official website https://www.karnatakapost.gov.in/. All these vacancies have been announced under the ambit of the 7th pay commission.

Eligibility: All three posts have different eligibility requirements.  For people wanting to apply for the post of Junior accountants, the minimum eligibility requirement is a graduation degree.  Postal Assistant: Postal assistant, sorting assistant the minimum requirement is 12th pass with a certification from a recognized board. Postman - People applying for the post of a postman should have a 12th pass certificate from any recognized board. 

Total number of vacancies: The department has two openings for junior accountants. Apart from this, there are 11 vacancies for the post of postal assistant. For sorting assistants, there are 4 positions and for postman, there are 27 posts.

Age limit: Applicants for any of the three positions will have to be at least 18 years of age while the maximum age limit is 27 years. For OBC candidates there is a relaxation of three years while for SC/ST there is a relaxation of 5 years.

7th Pay Commission salary structure different for all three posts: Junior accountant, sorting assistant and postal assistant, will be paid salaries according to the level 4 grade. The candidates will be getting a salary between Rs 25,500 and 81,100. Meanwhile, the postman will be getting a salary according to level 3 grade. The salary will be between Rs 21,700 and 69,100.

Application Fee: The general and OBC applicants will have to pay Rs 200 while SC/ST and former defense personnel are exempted from the fee.
