7th Pay Commission: Government jobs today - huge pay scale and allowances on offer as RRC announces vacancies for Group C, Group D Posts
Candidates applying for Level-2 should have 12th (+2stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate from a recognized Board. 50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates or where the candidates possess higher qualification i.e. Graduation/ Post Graduation etc from a Recognized University.
7th Pay Commission: Railway Recruitment Cell has notified a total of 8 vacancies out of which 2 vacancies are for Group 'C' West Central Railway, 2 for Erstwhile Group ‘D’ Jabalpur, 2 for Erstwhile Group ‘D’ Bhopal and 2 for Erstwhile Group ‘D’ Kota respectively. Interested candidates can apply for these posts through the official website ie wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. Interestingly, the selected candidates will get the pay scale according to 7th CPC. In addition, to pay, the posts carry usual allowances are also offered to the selected candidates.
7th pay commission pay scale:
For Group ‘C’, the candidates will be offered pay scale as per 7th pay commission, LEVEL- 2
For Erstwhile Group ‘D’, the candidates will be offered pay scale as per 7th pay commission, LEVEL- 1
Educational Qualifications:

Candidates applying for Level-1 should have 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th pass plus ITI (For Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and S&T department.)
Age limit:
Candidate applying for Level-2 post the age limit set is 18 to 30 years. For the Level-1 post, the age limit set is 18 to 33 years.
Application Fee:
For Assistant Secretary, Assistant Secretary (IT), Analyst (IT) candidates need to pay Rs. 1500/- as application fees, whereas Other Rs. 800/-. Also No Fee for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen/ Women/ Regular CBSE Employee.
