1st prize whopping Rs 12 crore! Kerala Onam Bumper Lottery Results DECLARED - This number won BIG MONEY

Kerala Thiruvonam Bumper Lottery BR-69: The results of the Thiruvonam bumper or Kerala Onam Bumper lottery was announced today at 2 pm. The first prize of Rs 12 crore was won by the ticket number TM 160869, while the second and third prizes fetched Rs 50 lakh and Rs 10 lakh, respectively.

The ticket holders can check their results on the official website, i.e www.keralalotteries.com. Also, the winners will have to surrender their tickets within 30 days of the announcement of the draw to a bank or government lottery office with valid id proofs. Price of each ticket is Rs 300.

However, the winner will not get the entire sum of lottery as he or she will have to settle for Rs 6.18 crore after the mandatory deductions of agency commissions and income tax. While agency commission is 10 per cent of the prize money, a 30 per cent of the income tax would be levied (plus applicable surcharge and cess).

Usually, the Kerala State Lottery Department declares lottery results by conducting the draw at the Gorky Bhavan Near Bakery Junction, Thiruvananthapuram. However, as far as draw for the Akshaya Lottery AK-412 is concerned, then know that there was none carried out. The reason is because of the occasion of Thiruvonam in the state.
