CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021: Last week, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) cancelled the CBSE class 10 board exams. The class 12 board exams have been postponed as of now in view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases across the country. The decision on the revised schedule for the CBSE class 12 board exams will be undertaken after a thorough review of the COVID-19 situation in the state on June 1, 2021.

As per a report by dnaindia.com, a distinct pattern was followed last year when the exams for certain papers were held because of the pandemic. For the students who appeared for three or more papers were given marks based on the average of the highest marks obtained in any three subjects they have appeared for. While those students who appeared for only two exams, the average of the two highest-scoring exams were considered while marking them for the paper which could not be held. Source: PTI
