7th Pay Commission latest news: The central government employees are eagerly waiting for the three pending DA (Dearness Allowance) allotments to be restored from July 1, 2021. The central government has recently announced that the pending DAs of the central government employees will be restored from July 1 of this year. In this scenario, some are confused as to how much their salary will increase after the implementation of the pending DAs.
Good news for central government employees
The restoration of the pending DAs is going to be a good news for the central government employees. Around 52 lakh central government employees will be benefitted from the restoration of DA. 7th Pay Commission - DA Arrears
Following restoration, DA for the central government employees will be raised to 28 per cent from the current 17 per cent. This will also include the DA announced from January 2020 to June 2020 and July 2020 to December 2020 which are 3 per cent and 4 per cent, respectively. This will also include the 4 per cent DA from January 2021 to June 2021. Source: PTI
7th CPC Pay Hike
As the salary of the central government employees is decided by the fitment factor (which is 2.57) multiplied by basic salary plus DA, so when the DA will jump from 17 to 28 per cent, a central government employee's salary will automatically get raised. Apart from that they will be given three installments of the DA arrears too. Source: PTI
