CBSE Class 10th Result: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 Board Exam 2021 candidates are waiting for the declaration of the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results. It must be noted that on June 17, 2021, CBSE Exam Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj informed news agency ANI that the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results are likely to be released by July 20, 2021. However, the results were not declared by July 20, 2021.

Now, as the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 was cancelled this year due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the CBSE formulated a special assessment criterion based on which the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results have been prepared. In this regard, the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 candidates must be aware of the basis on which they have been marked.

The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 candidates must note that due to the cancellation of the board exams, the assessment of 80 marks will be done by the schools. This assessment will be based on two factors:

1) based on the marks scored by the candidates in different test/ exams conducted by the school during the year

2) the marks should be in consonance with the past performance of the school in CBSE Class 10 Board Exams

The weightage of the marks in terms of maximum marks for schools who have conducted the tests and exams are as follows:

1) Periodic Test/ Unit Test - 10 marks

2) Half Yearly/ Mid-term exams - 30 marks

3) Pre-board exams - 40 marks

The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 candidates must also note the fact that if any student is not satisfied with the marks allotted to them then the student can appear for the exam in that subject.
