UGC NET Result 2022: The UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the UGC NET 2022 results will be declared within a couple of days, as per a Twitter post from UGC.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the UGC NET December 2020 did not take place. The UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles were conducted together by the NTA between November 20, 2021 and January 5, 2022.
After the UGC-NET 2022 results are declared, the NET 2022 candidates will have to follow some simple steps to check their scorecards. They are as follows:
Step 1: The candidates will have to login to the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: The candidates will then have to click on the link that says UGC NET results present on the homepage
Step 3: A new page will open
Step 4: The candidates will have to enter the required credentials
Step 5: The result will be displayed on screen
The UGC NET 2022 candidates must download the results and keep a printout of the same for future use.
This time more than 12 lakh candidates registered for the UGC NET exam, as per the UGC press release.
UGC NET is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility of Assistant Professorship, Junior Research Fellowship or both, for Indian Universities and Colleges.
The awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship depends on the aggregate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of UGC-NET. The candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professorship are not to be considered for the awarding of JRF. The candidates who qualify the eligibility test for Assistant Professorship are governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of Assistant Professor of the concerned universities/colleges/state governments, as the case may be.
