PM Narendra Modi to address 'Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021' TODAY at 7 PM - check where you can watch

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with students, teachers and parents during 'Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021' today at 7 PM. The event will be held in a virtual mode due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

Speaking to ANI, the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that almost 14 lakh participants had registered themselves in the contest for 'Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021'. Apart from that 10.5 lakh students, 2.6 lakh teachers and 92,000 parents will be participating in the creative writing contest. The students had to submit entries on any of the themes provided to them. The parents and the teachers had to submit entries in online activities specially designed for them.

Regarding the latest edition of 'Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021', the Prime Minister tweeted on April 5, "A new format, several interesting questions on a wide range of subjects and a memorable discussion with our brave Exam Warriors, parents and teachers. Watch 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' at 7 PM on April 7."

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also issued a notification to all the heads of the CBSE affiliated institutions requesting everyone to encourage maximum number of children of class 6 and above to watch the programme on TV channels, digital media including the website education.gov.in.

This programme is meant to benefit the students, teachers and parents and would focus on some of the key questions on examinations.

Incidentally, the CBSE board exams for class 10 class 12 candidates are less than a month away. The CBSE board written exams are scheduled to start from May 4, 2021.

The Education Minister said that this is a unique programme in the world where the Prime Minister of any country connects directly with thousands of students at one time.

For the first time, students from 81 foreign countries have participated in the 'Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021' writing contest.

The fourth edition of 'Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021' will be held at 7 PM today, April 7, 2021. 32 channels of Swayam Prabha including Doordarshan will live telecast the programme.
