The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the NTA NEET UG 2021 Exam on September 12, 2021. The NEET UG 2021 candidates must remember that no further chance for correction will be provided to the candidates.
The NEET UG 2021 Exam will be of three hours, from 2 PM to 5 PM. As per the NEET UG 2021 Information Bulletin, the candidates must note that the announcement of exam city will be made on August 20, 2021. The admit cards will be made available for download the NTA website, three days prior to the exam.
The NEET UG 2021 candidates must note that as per the NEET UG 2021 Information Bulletin, there has been a change in the exam pattern as compared to last year. According to NEET UG 2020 Information Bulletin, there were three subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). There were 45 MCQs each from Physics and Chemistry and 90 MCQs from Biology. Each question consists of four marks. The total marks for the NEET UG 2020 was 720.
However, as per NEET UG 2021 Information Bulletin, there are four subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Furthermore, each subject will consist of two sections of MCQs - Section A and Section B. Section A will consist of 35 questions. Section B will consist of 15 questions out of which the candidates will have to answer 10 questions. Each question will consist of four marks. The total marks for the exam will be 720.
The online submission of NTA NEET UG 2021 Exam application form closed on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.
The NEET UG 2021 candidates must be aware of the admission procedure. It must be noted that admissions to all seats of Undergraduate Medical / Dental Courses will be done through NEET UG 2021. The following are the seats available under different quotas:
1) All India Quota Seats
2) State Government Quota Seats
3) Central Institutions/Universities/Deemed Universities
4) State/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical / Dental Colleges or any Private University
5) Central Pool Quota Seats
6) All seats including NRI Quota as well as Management Quota, in private unaided/aided minority / non-minority medical colleges
7) AIIMS Institutes across India/JIPMER
