As per News agency ANI , the exam will be postponed at least for four months. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi authorises keys decisions to boost availability of medical personnel to fight COVID-19. NEET-PG Exam to be postponed for at least 4 months," said ANI report quoting Prime Minister's Office.
Earlier, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan had said the decision was been taken keeping the wellbeing of our young medical students in mind. Harsh Vardhan had said that the next date for the exam will be decided later.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday reviewed various measures to augment human resources for effective management of the COVID-19 situation and possible steps discussed include incentivising students and pass-outs of medical and nursing courses to join the pandemic duty, sources said.
Final Year MBBS students can be utilized for teleconsultation and monitoring of mild Covid cases under the supervision of Faculty. BSc/GNM Qualified Nurses to be utilized in full-time Covid nursing duties under the supervision of Senior Doctors and Nurses, said PMO as per ANI.
