NEET 2021 Exam Pattern: The online registration process for NEET UG 2021 Exam has started from July 13, 2021. The last date for online application is August 6, 2021, till 11.50 PM. The NEET UG 2021 Exam is scheduled to take place on September 12, 2021. The candidates appearing for the NEET UG 2021 Exam must be acquainted with the new exam pattern. For more information, the candidates can login on to the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA) at nta.nic.in or NEET website at ntaneet.nic.in.

As per the NEET UG 2021 Information Bulletin, there has been a change in the exam pattern as compared to last year. According to NEET UG 2020 Information Bulletin, there were three subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). There were 45 MCQs each from Physics and Chemistry and 90 MCQs from Biology. Each question consists of four marks. The total marks for the NEET UG 2020 was 720.
However, as per NEET UG 2021 Information Bulletin, there are four subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Furthermore, each subject will consist of two sections of MCQs - Section A and Section B. Section A will consist of 35 questions. Section B will consist of 15 questions out of which the candidates will have to answer 10 questions. Each question will consist of four marks. The total marks for the exam will be 720.
The NEET UG 2021 candidates must mote that for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the total score. If a question is unanswered, then the candidate will receive no marks and no marks will be deducted.
The NEET UG 2021 candidates must note that the total duration of the exam will be of three hours.
