The NEET 2021 will be conducted by NTA on September 12, 2021. There are certain important points that the candidates must know before appearing for the exam.
NEET 2021: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET 2021 exam on September 12, 2021. The admit cards for NEET UG 2021 are available to download at neet.nta.nic.in.

The NEET 2021 candidates must be aware of certain important points before appearing for the exam this Sunday. They are as follows:
1) The NEET 2021 exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode on September 12, 2021, from 2 PM to 5 PM.
2) The candidate will not be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after 1:30 PM and so the candidate shall leave home well in advance taking into consideration various factors such as traffic, location of the centre and weather conditions and others.
3) No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any articles/items belonging to the candidates.
4) As per the Information Bulletin, the candidates wearing articles or objects of faith (customary/ cultural/ religious ) should report at the examination centre at least two hours before the last reporting time so that there is enough time for proper frisking without any inconvenience to the candidate while maintaining the sanctity of the examination. If upon screening, it is discovered that any candidate is actually carrying a suspected device within such item of faith, he/ she may be asked not to take it into the examination hall.
5) The NEET 2021 candidates must note that the NEET question paper will consist of questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. The total marks will be 720.
6) The NEET 2021 will be held in pen and paper mode. The NEET UG 2021 candidates must note that in the exam, for each correct answer, the candidate will be awarded four marks. For each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the score. No marks will be awarded for a question which is not attempted or unanswered. In case, a question is ignored or dropped, all candidates will be awarded four marks for that question, irrespective of the fact whether the candidate has attempted it or not.
7) Light clothes with long sleeves are not permitted. However in case, candidates come in cultural/ customary dress at the examination centre, they should report at least an hour before the last reporting time, that is,12.30 PM so that there is enough time for proper frisking without any inconvenience to the candidate while maintaining the sanctity of the examination.
8) Slippers, sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not permitted.
9) The candidate will have to follow all the instructions and maintain discipline in the examination/ Examination Hall.
10) While filling the OMR sheet, the NEET 2021 candidates must note that specific spaces or boxes are provided in the OMR sheets to fill the required information like Roll Number, Test Booklet No. and Test Booklet Code. The candidates must not write anything else on the OMR sheets and refrain from using any specific symbol or sign. This can lead to the rejection of the OMR Sheet.
