JEE Advanced Exam 2021: ATTENTION! JEE advanced exam 2021 likely to get POSTPONED, check official announcement at jeeadv.nic.in anytime soon

JEE Advanced Exam 2021 Postponed: In the list of competitive exams postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, likely JEE Advance 2021 exam is likely to be included. The JEE Advanced 2021 exam was scheduled to take place on July 3, 2021. However, the exam can be rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic scenario in the country. The candidates must check the JEE Advances website at jeeadv.nic.in for any updates.

While speaking to India TV, JEE Advanced committee officials informed that during a meeting on April 27, 2021, a three-member committee discussed the prevailing pandemic situation in the country and conducting JEE Advanced on the scheduled date of July 3. The JEE Advanced officials revealed to India TV that the panel was of the view that situation was not suitable in conducting the exams.

Incidentally, the JEE Main 2021 April session exams have also been postponed which were scheduled to take place in the last week of April. The National Testing Agency (NTA) had already decided to conduct the JEE Main 2021 exams in four sessions this year because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The JEE Main 2021 February and March session exams had already been conducted and results had been declared. However, due to the sudden spike in the number of COVID-19 cases all over the country, the NTA decided to postpone the April session exams until further notice. There has been no notifications regarding the JEE Main 2021 May session exams till now but it seems that with the postponement of the April session exams, the May session exams will also get delayed.
Keeping in view, the current COVID-19 situation in the country, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and postponed the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. The CBSE will review the COVID-19 situation in the country and decide on the revised dates for the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021.

If JEE Advanced 2021 exam is postponed due to the pandemic, the name of another postponed competitive exam will be added after JEE Main 2021 April session exam, UG-NET 2021 exam, NEET PG 2021 exam and many more.
