How will the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students evaluated?
As per the notification issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), "Class-XII assessment will be made as per well-defined objective criteria in a time bound manner." The CBSE has further informed that if any student is not satisfied with the marks allotted to him or her, he or she will be given the option of appearing in the exams when the circumstances will be favourable for conducting the exams.
As per the release from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), in yesterday's meeting, the PM said that all stakeholders need to show sensitivity for students. He has also directed officials to ensure that the results are prepared in accordance with well-defined criteria, in a fair and time-bound manner. It has also been decided that like last year, in case some students desire to take the exams, such an option would be provided to them by CBSE, as and when the situation becomes conducive.
Notably, when the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 was cancelled, the CBSE stated that the results for the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be compiled on the basis of an 'objective criterion'. Later, the board had also announced the marks tabulation policy for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students.
How will the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students be evaluated?

Due to the cancellation of the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021, the assessment of 80 marks will be done by the schools, based on the following criteria:
1) based on the marks scored by the candidate in different tests or exams conducted by the school during the year
2) the marks should be in consonance with the past performance of the school in CBSE Class 10 Board Exams
Each school has also been instructed by the CBSE to constitute a Result Committe consisting of the Principal and seven teachers for finalising the results.
