Earlier on Tuesday, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Cabinet Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India, took to Twitter to confirm the declaration date of the CBSE Class 10th Results 2020.

CBSE class 12 examination results 2020 have already been announced. But, this year CBSE is not announcing any merit list for class 12 examination.
Announcing the results, CBSE had said that it has recorded increase of 5.38 pc in pass percentage in class 12 exams. Also, girls outshone boys in CBSE class 12 examination as they recorded 5.96 pc higher pass percentage than boys.
Moreover, CBSE class 12 results of 400 students could not be computed as per decided assessment scheme; to be announced later, CBSE confirmed. As far as the pass percentage is concerned, Trivandrum region recorded highest pass percentage at 97.67 while Patna region records lowest pass percentage at 74.57.
On July 10, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) had declared the most-awaited results for ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII. The results are now available on the website cisce.org. It can also be checked via SMS, for which the students need to send their seven digit roll numbers to 09248082883. The pass percentage for Class X is 99.33 per cent, while for Class XII, it is 96.84 per cent, the council said.
