Meanwhile, the CBSE had categorically denied any such plan relating to CBSE Class 10, Class 12 Board exams 2021. It rather appeared confident about conducting the board exams. The Board had said that it will be conducting the exams, keeping all safety measures in mind."Adequate arrangements are being made to ensure the students are safe and all COVID protocols are followed. The number of exam centres has been increased by 40-50 per cent to ensure social distancing. The staff at exam centres is being sensitised to ensure all guidelines are followed," PTI quoted a CBSE official making this statement.
In the latest development, Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examination, CBSE, elaborated about all the measures taken by the CBSE board in order to successfully conduct the upcoming board exams. "Special emphasis has been given to students’ safety, thus the board has increased the no of examination centres from 5000 to 7000 and strict covid protocols will be maintained throughout the centers," he said.
He urged those eligible for vaccination get themselves vaccinated and asked parents to keep a tab on CBSE class 10, 12 candidate covid 19 status. "We are in constant touch with the Government and other sister concerns and we are all making sure that everything is correlated in such a manner that exams are conducted smoothly,” said CBSE Controller of Examination
Bhardwaj said board has been very transparent from the exam point of view and it comes from the curriculum hosted in the website. "We have also uploaded the sample question paper. The design of the question paper will be same to the sample question paper only. If any candidate (special need children) coming for examination then they will be provided with a single room where two children can sit and they will also be given assistive devices and they can carry the same to the examination hall as well. I have a very good team of 25,000 schools and when I have such a good team, no one will have stress on their face. The stress is to meet the guidelines. I am utilising the services of my schools who are always ready to support me."
