CBSE Board Exam 2021: Class 12 students, check CBSE scheme of studies; Don't miss out

CBSE Board Exam 2021:  Often students are confused regarding their choice of subjects in the higher secondary standard. They are confused about the scheme of studies to be followed for class 12 and subsequently the board exams. Recently, CBSE has issued a clarification in a letter addressed to the Controller of Examinations (S.S), Bihar School Examination Board in Patna, on the scheme of studies followed by the board in class 12.

The letter was issued on March 1, 2021.

The CBSE has informed in its letter that in class 12, a student can opt for the following combination of subjects:

Under compulsory category:

Subject 1 - English or Hindi
Subject 2 - Any one language from Subject Group-L not opted as Subject-1 or Any one subject from academic electives (Subject Group - A)
Subject 3, Subject 4, Subject 5 - Any three subjects from academic electives (Subject Group-A) or Any three subjects from Skill Group - S or Any three from combination of Group-A and Group-S

Under Additional Subject Optional category:

Subject 6 - Any one subject or language from any subject group or Language group not opted above

The CBSE board exams for class 10 and class 12 are set to begin from May 4 this year.
