The price of a 19kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced for the second time in 11 days.
Oil marketing companies (OMCs) have decided to reduce the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. The price of a 19kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced for the second time in 11 days. The prices have been slashed by Rs 1.50 per unit. Earlier on December 22, 2023, the prices were slashed by around Rs 39. The new prices will be effective from today.
However, the price of domestic LPG cylinders has remained unchanged.
Commercial LPG cylinder prices slashed - Check New Rates
According to the website of Indian Oil Corporation, the new prices of 19 kg Indane cylinders are effective from today. The latest price per unit is Rs 1,755 in Delhi, Rs 1,869 in Kolkata, Rs 1,708 in Mumbai and Rs 1,924 in Chennai.
If we talk about domestic cylinders, the price of a 14.2kg Indane cylinder is Rs 903 in Delhi, Rs 929 in Kolkata, Rs 902 in Mumbai and Rs 918 in Chennai.
The price of a 14.2kg cylinder has remained unchanged since August 30, 2023.
ATF Price Slashed
Meanwhile, airfare can get cheaper as oil companies have also reduced the prices of aviation turbine fuel (ATF). There has been a reduction of about Rs 4,162.50 per kilo litre in prices.
