Want diesel delivered at your doorstep? Now possible! It is just a call away in Noida, courtesy BPCL

The BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd) began doorstep delivery of diesel for industrial and bulk customers in Noida from 4th December 2019. The company has started the delivery of the fuel from Shaheed Ramendra Pratap Singh Petrol Pump at Sector-95 in Noida. This type of service is first of its kind in the Delhi-NCR region. According to BPCL, this service will benefit the housing societies, malls, hospitals, banks, large transporters, construction sites, and small and big industries. Customers can book diesel through ‘Fil now’ App and get it at a given location.

Speaking on the BPCL step Kirti Kumar, Sales Officer at BPCL Noida stated that presently the company is providing this facility for places like Malls, Small and heavy Manufacturing Industries etc. In future Government is planning to extend this facility to individual car owners. This initiative is unique in a way that in spite of customers take fuel from a retail outlet in barrels and then transport it has safety issues. By this Bowser (door to door delivery vehicle) the safety aspect is taken care of. Further quality and quantity are also assured as we have fuel will be dispensed assuring correct quantity and right quantity directly from BPCL Pump.  BOWSER has GEO fencing system which ensures that fuel will be delivered only at ordered locations. Hence no other fuel can be added or pilfered in between the transportation.

At present, the industrial and bulk customers, who require the fuel, have to visit the nearest retail outlet to fill in containers/barrels. The new initiative aims to make the process convenient for people to get the oil delivered at their doorstep. The fuel delivery vehicle comes fitted with a mobile dispenser and a 4,000-litre fuel tank. The service aims to ensure a hassle-free supply of the fuel to end-users and also avoid unnecessary fuel spillage, unsafe handling of fuel in containers/barrels and also pilferage.

How does 'Fil Now' App work
Booking through ‘Fil now’ app: The mobile application is available at Google Play and Apple’s App Store.  Once a customer downloads this app, he can track the location. After that customer location will be connected to the company’s server. Once he places his order, the fuel would reach the concerned BPCL dealer with complete details of the customer (name, cellphone number, quantity required, address and time of delivery).

After receiving the receipt of the order from the customer, the mobile dispenser will reach the destination and the dispensing would commence through automation at the designated location (geo-fenced area). The fuel dispenser is equipped with fire extinguishers and safety cones among others for demarcation of the delivery area. Also, the customer gets an SMS alert before the fuel dispenser reaches the given location.

Payment process
To pay for avail this doorstep delivery benefit of the BPCL, a customer can do it online as well as offline. He or she can pay through UPI, mobile wallet, Debit-Credit card, NEFT, RTGS etc. Finally, he gets a receipt after completion of the payment.
