Revv offers cars at zero fee to healthcare workers; now available in Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune

Self-drive mobility start-up Revv today announced its initiative to offer cars at zero fee, to assist healthcare workers amid the coronavirus outbreak, the company said in a media release. The move is aimed to assist healthcare workers amid the lockdown that has put restrictions on public transport systems, the release said.
Revv is giving self-drive services in 5 cities - Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Pune, the release said adding that its current fleet of cars will be available "free of charge to healthcare workers currently engaged in active duty at a hospital".
Revv will mobilize over 1000 initially and increase the numbers as the need escalates, the release said.
“We’re inviting partners across these cities to help us accelerate this. For example, In Bengaluru, we are partnering with a 12,000 strong citizen volunteer group, to facilitate the distribution of these cars to healthcare workers that they are engaged with,” the release said quoting the founders Anupam Agarwal and Karan Jain.
The cars will be provided upon submission of relevant ID proof, it said in the media release.
Healthcare workers can reach out to Revv at 9250035555 to place a booking, the release said adding that the company would soon add the service to its website and apps.
After placing the booking, the healthcare worker can pick up the car from Revv’s delivery centres.
