Namaskar service on Air India will make your journey pleasant, more comfortable
The 'Namaskar service' is actually a meet and greet service, under which Air India will provide you at a dedicated assistant who will receive you at the airport and extends service till you board the flight.
If you are a frequent flyer then this piece of news is useful for you. Air India is all set to commence its 'Namaskar service' in order to make your air journey comfortable. The new service intends to facilitate elderly passengers or small children who generally face problems during transit flight, but these issues will now be a thing of past.
Minakshi Malik, the commercial director at Air India, told Zee Business TV that Air India will provide an assistant through its 'Namaskar service' from entering into the airport to boarding the plane. Starting from 22 September, you will have to pay a nominal fee for this service to Air India.
The 'Namaskar service' is actually a meet and greet service, under which Air India will provide you at a dedicated assistant who will receive you at the airport and extends service till you board the flight.
Air India's 'Namaskar service' will start from New Delhi Airport from September 22 on the pilot project, and after getting a good response or feedback, Air India will also start the service at other metro airports including Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bangalore.
Namaskar service will prove beneficial to travellers whom Air India is also targeting, and they are elderly passengers, or those who come with heavy luggage, young children or mostly transit passengers of international flights. They will be able to avail this facility by clicking on the 'Namaskar service' of Air India website.
According to Air India officials, if you book an assistant under Namaskar service, you will have to pay Rs 750 for domestic service (flight), while Rs 1500 will be charged for international flights. A maximum of three assistants can only be booked.

In order to make the Namaskar service more successful, Air India will provide such passengers priority check-in and seats facility similar to Class 1 passengers. Although this facility is already available for business class or first class passengers, Air India now wants to extend this service to all passengers.
