Impact of Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki Eruption
The eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki, located on a remote island in the East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia, has led to significant ash clouds. These clouds are a major concern for air travel, as they can severely impact flight safety. As a result, multiple airlines operating flights to Bali have been forced to cancel their services.
Both Air India and IndiGo are working to minimise the disruption for passengers, offering flexibility in flight rescheduling or cancellations. The airlines continue to monitor the situation closely, ensuring that the safety of their passengers remains the utmost priority during these challenging circumstances.
