MRF Q2 Results: Tyremaker's profit skyrockets nearly five times, revenue rises nearly 7%
MRF reported 351.71 per cent jump in its consolidated profit after tax to Rs 586.66 crore in the second quarter of the fiscal from Rs 129.86 crore in the corresponding period last year.
MRF Ltd Q2 Results: Tyremaker MRF Ltd announced its September quarter results on Friday (November 3, 2023), reporting a 351.71 per cent jump in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 586.66 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year from Rs 129.86 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company's revenue from operations jumped to Rs 6217.10 crore in Q2 from Rs 5826.30 crore year-on-year (YoY).
MRF Interim Dividend
MRF's board of directors on Friday also announced an interim dividend of Rs.3/-per equity share (30%) for the financial year ending March 31, 2024.
While the company has fixed November 17 as the record date for the interim dividend, it will be paid to the shareholders on or after November 30, 2023.

After the company announced ex-dividend, the tyremaker's stock fell on BSE.
The stock was trading lower by 2.02 per cent, or Rs 2,235.30, at Rs 1,08277.10, on BSE at 13:05 on Friday.
