HPCL net profit up 30%, rises to nearly Rs 2,100 crore
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd on Monday announced its standalone results whose net profit was up 30% for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.
The company has posted a net profit of Rs. 2098.38 crore for the first quarter as compared to Rs. 1614.13 crore for the same period last year.
Total Income has decreased from Rs. 55059.38 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 to Rs. 51936.3 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.
The company’s shares ended lower 2.02% ahead of the Q1 results at Rs 1,214.6 per share.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1250 and touched a high and low of Rs. 1251.2 and Rs. 1206.5 respectively.
