Petrol price cut Re 1 per litre, diesel down by Rs 2
This is the fourth cut in rates within the span of two months.
The price of petrol on Monday was cut by Rs 1 per litre and diesel was cut by Rs 2 per litre, according to a PTI alert.
The new rates will come into effect from midnight.

The price of petrol will now be Rs 60.09 a litre in Delhi and diesel will cost Rs 50.27 per litre from Rs 52.27 per litre currently.
Earlier, petrol was cut by Rs 1.42 per litre and diesel by Rs 2.01 per litre on July 31.
While the rates have been cut four times in a span of two months, the rates had also been hiked four times between May 31 to Julne 31.
