India IVF Clinic, most trusted and fastest growing fertility treatment chain in India has launched the first of its kind do-it-yourself semen testing kit in Delhi NCR.
New Delhi: India IVF Clinic, most trusted and fastest growing fertility treatment chain in India has launched the first of its kind do-it-yourself semen testing kit in Delhi NCR. Fertility health experts claim that about 50 percent of infertility cases involve men and as the gender doesn’t have acute knowledge of their biological clocks like women, they are not aware about the issues. A recent study shows that sperm counts have plummeted by 59.4% in the past 38 years.

Dr Somendra Shukla, Founder & CEO of India IVF Clinic, along with Dr Richika Sahay Shukla, Co-founder and Director of India IVF Clinic have come up with the do it yourself sperm testing kit. Once a man registers for semen analysis, the kit will be sent to his home address.
Speaking at the online launch event, Dr Richika said ,“A male contribution to infertility is common and should be assessed early on in a couple’s path to achieve parenthood. To enable a man to assess his motile sperm concentration in the privacy of his home, using the FDA approved kit like this, that accurately reports Motile Sperm Concentration is an excellent screening tool for the consumer. When a couple arrives at my clinic with a Home sperm test result in hand and they can also show me a video that verifies the results, I can quickly assess if there is a male factor issue that requires investigation. I believe this motivates the couple to seek help earlier in the process and that’s very beneficial to both the doctor and the patient.”
“I see Home Sperm test as a game-changer in India and globally because of the profound need for a test of this type as a first step in the process of diagnosing and treating male factor infertility in a timely basis and also taking preventive steps”, says Dr Somendra Shukla, CEO & Founder of India IVF Clinic.
Why Test Your Sperm At Home?
You can Learn where you stand privately since Sperm are also a great indicator of overall health and wellness. “Delivering” a sperm sample at the doctor’s office is nerve-wracking and awkward. You can get the info you need in the comfort of your home. Monitoring your SPERM SCORE over time can provide you with important feedback about your health and/or the impact of lifestyle changes.
What does Home Sperm Test report
In cases of infertility, the man is a contributing factor in approximately 50% of cases. A semen analysis is conducted to test a man’s sperm count (concentration), moving sperm (motility), normally shaped sperm (morphology), and other parameters. One of the most important factors in achieving a pregnancy is the number of motile sperm in the sample. If the sperm cannot swim to the egg, natural pregnancy is not possible. The Home Sperm Test analyzes your motile sperm concentration (how many are moving) and sperm quality (Sperm Score) and compares your results to laboratory standards and to other men who have fathered children. You will also receive a video recording of your sample as part of the sperm Test. Test results are 97% accurate, FDA-cleared and extensively tested.
