Go First sale: Ticket price starts at Rs 1,199 - check domestic, international routes, travel date
The airline is offering free rescheduling and cancellation on all bookings, subject to terms and conditions.
Go First, formerly known as GoAir, has announced a 'Travel India Travel' sale today, January 16. The airline said that the flyers can book tickets and avail of the benefits of sale between January 16 and 19.
According to the Go First airline offer, ticket price starts at Rs 1,199 for domestic flights and Rs 6,599 for international flights. The travel period ranges from February 4 to September 30.
The airline is offering free rescheduling and cancellation on all bookings, subject to terms and conditions.
“This offer will help travelers plan their vacations in advance, making the travel experience more convenient and budget-friendly. Being a ULC (Ultra Low Cost) carrier, GO FIRST always aims towards providing a convenient and affordable flying experience,” the airline said in a release.
“The ULCC/ LCC work on the philosophy where the seats are cheap when you book well in advance and as you go near to the departure, they become expensive and hence this sale is aimed to provide the opportunity to the customers to get cheapest fares and still have the option to cancel or reschedule till 15 days prior to the scheduled date of departure,” Kaushik Khona, Chief Executive Officer, Go First, said.
The offer came a few days after the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued a show cause notice to the Chief Operation Officer of Go First airlines. Flight G8-116 took off from Bengaluru without taking 55 passengers. Go First later announced to offer all affected passengers one free ticket for travel on any domestic sector in the next 12 months.
