Mittal in his comment in the concall said, the company aims to raise ARPU to Rs 200 in the financial year 2021-22 as compared to Rs 146 at present, Gupta explains stating that it is one of the big announcements the company made in an analyst call.

The senior research analyst says the company further believes that it is the biggest opportunity to invest in India and also sees 5G services will start by the second half of the financial year 2022-23. He adds, the fundraising money would be spent on the final leg of 5G services roll-out.
The company also said, it has the biggest spectrum pool, acquired so far by the second-largest telecom services provider, points out Gupta stating that all these investments are for future, which is beyond usual business.

With respect to monetisation, the company to deleverage the balance sheet by mostly monetising fibre and tower assets, similarly, digital assets will also be under one umbrella, because company has biggest market share in this segment, Zee Business analyst said.
The company is also mulling to raises its base tariff to Rs 99 from Rs 79, the analyst adds mentioning the company’s future plan and business perspectives.
The telecom major’s board on Monday approved the company’s plan to raise further capital of Rs 21000 crore through rights issue. “Accordingly, the Board approved the issuance of equity shares of face value of Rs. 5/- each of the Company on rights basis to eligible equity shareholders of the Company as on the record date (to be notified later),” the company further said in a statement.
The shares of Bharti Airtel ended at day’s high level over 5 per cent to Rs 625 per share on the BSE, as compared to 1.36 per cent rise in the S&P BSE Sensex.
