Royal Enfield, the iconic Indian motorcycle brand, has launched the limited edition Classic 500 Pegasus motorcycle in India today for Rs 2.49 lakh. The price is ex-showroom Mumbai. Out of total 1000 units to be produced globally, it will only bring 250 units of the model to India. The standout part about this bike is the wartime colour of Service Brown. The motorcycle is designed for paying homage to two-stroke RE/WD 125 -- one of Royal Enfield early motorcycles -- that was used by British army's paratroopers. Online bookings for the Classic 500 bikes will commence on July 10.
