Okaya EV debuts in Sri Lanka: Currently, Okaya EV is offering three electric scooters—Faast F4, Faast F2B, and Freedum (slow speed) in the Indian market as well as in Sri Lankan market.
Okaya EV debuts in Sri Lanka: The electric two-wheeler brand Okaya EV has announced its foray into Sri Lanka and has inaugurated its first showroom in Colombo. This showroom in the capital showcases the entire range of Okaya EVs in terms of price, mileage, and top speed, the company said in a release.
Apart from this, the EV company has also announced the launch of Sri Lanka’s first-ever fully electric bike in partnership with Douglas and Sons (DSL).
Okaya EV said in its release that it is "continuing with its commitment of delivering a wide range of e-scooters to its customers all across the globe."
“We take pride in opening our first showroom of Sri Lanka at Colombo, simultaneously with launching the country’s first-ever fully electric bike in partnership with Douglas and sons," Anshul Gupta, Managing Director of Okaya Electric Vehicles said.
The showroom of OKAYA EV at Colombo was inaugurated by Saroj Perera - DSL's chairman and managing director, Anil Gupta - Vice President of International Business at OKAYA Power Private Limited, and Gopal Baglay - the High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka.
