Mahindra hands over first-ever personalized XUV700 to gold medalist Sumit Antil

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has handed over the first-ever personalized XUV700 to gold medalist Sumit Antil, who made the whole nation proud at Tokyo Paralympics.

"Our exhilaration is off the charts as we deliver the first-ever personalized XUV700 to @sumit_javelin, who made the whole nation proud at Tokyo Paralympics. Once again, thank you for bagging the gold for India," Mahindra tweeted. 

Since the bookings of its SUV has started, the Mahindra XUV700 has been receiving overwhelming responses from its customers. In just two weeks, Mahindra & Mahindra has received 65,000 bookings for the XUV700 SUV. And it is now planning to start the deliveries of its petrol variant from October 30, and diesel variant from the last week of November.

The company earlier informed that it will start the petrol deliveries from 30th October and the diesel deliveries from the last week of November.

M&M has also shared that making a reservation for the Mahindra XUV700 is only one part of the process as delivery timelines in the current scenario, and because of the volume, may become a challenge. Mahindra, in a press statement, informed it has partnered with a ‘top’ global consultancy firm to streamline the entire delivery process. The company informed that the partnership will seek to devise and implement an algorithm-based process.

Mahindra XUV 700 comes with two variants. The different variants and their pricing are: Mahindra XUV700’s MX series (Manual, petrol) starts at Rs 11,99,000, MX Diesel starting at Rs 12.49 lakh; the AX3 (Manual, petrol) at 13,99,000, AX3 Diesel starting at Rs 14.59 Lakh; the AX5(Manual, Petrol) at Rs 14,99,000, AX5 Diesel starting at Rs 15.59 lakh; and the AX7 is a 7-seater (Petrol, Manual) at Rs 15,59,000, AX7 Diesel starting at Rs 18.19 lakh; AX7 Luxury pack petrol at Rs 20.99 lakh, AX7 Luxury pack  diesel at Rs 21.59 lakh. All the variants have a seating capacity of five persons, except the AX7.  

Official bookings of the Mahindra XUV700 was started on October 7, 2021. All prices will be applicable for the first 25000 bookings, the company has informed.

The Mahindra XUV 700 SUV comes with airbags, ESP, ADAS front collision warning. Other important features of the car include alloy wheels and LED DRL and clear view headlamps.
