WagonR: Maruti Suzuki has introduced the CNG dual-fuel option in its third-generation WagonR, more than a month after the carmaker launched the car. This option is only available in the base variant- LXI CNG and is priced at Rs 4.84 lakh and the LXI (O) CNG is priced at Rs 4.89 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
The CNG option is only available with the 1.0-litre engine option and comes with a 5-speed manual transmission and can produce 68PS of power and 90Nm of peak torque. Fuel efficiency for the petrol fuel is 22.5kmpl and for the CNG is 33.45km/kg.
As the LXI is the basr variant of the car, so it comes with the basic features. The car features 13-inch steel wheels with 155/80 tyres and gets body-coloured bumpers.
The interior consists of a driver side sun visor, front accessory socket, front power windows and a manual AC. The standard safety equipments include a driver airbag, ABS, EBD, seatbelt reminder for both front occupants, speed alert system, rear parking sensors, rear door child locks and central locking.
Customers can pay an extra Rs 5000 and get a passenger-side airbag along with pre-tensioners and force limiters for the front seatbelts, front fog lamps, day/night IRVM and a rear parcel tray.
